Bogotá was ready for a Hard Rock saturday night, with two legendary bands in town: Faster Pussycat and Quiet Riot! The local bands Broken Zip, Sagar, The Price and Anger Rise had the task to warmp-up the crowds

Faster Pussycat got on stage slightly after 7PM, with an electronic intro and under a very dark lighshow. Those who were expected the colourful cliché atmosphere of the 80's were wrong! Faster Pussycat still play Sleaze, Glam, Hard Rock, or whatever you want to call it... but in a much darker way.
But something that has not changed is their attitude, which is still Sex, Drugs, and Rock ‘N’ Roll!
Taime Downe didn't mind to smoke a few cigarettes while singing, and he also brought a Whiskey bottle, and shared a drink with his bandmates.
Taime is the showman, but Xristian, Danny, Chad and Ace all did great performances in every way.

This was Faster Pussycat's first visit to Colombia and the crowds were really excited. House Of Pain was a very big hit here (like pretty much everywhere, I guess) so everyone was expecting this song.
Taime sat down at the edge of the stage to sing this one, so he can be closer to the fans. As the crowds sang out loud, he stated that this gave him goosebumps!

After this song, the light show changed completely and went from monochrome to full colours. All over the venue there was a party atmosphere, driven by the energy of the band and an enthusiast crowd. Faster Pussycat even included a couple of cover songs on the setlist, from the Ramones and from Supersuckers.

Even if they were supposed to be the opening act, Faster Pussycat delivered a full show during more than an hour.
Music, attitude, and party, that's what this show was about! And we will remember it!
