Bullet was the surprise of the evening!

I never heard of this band before this show, but they blew my mind on that evening.

Bullet come from a small city in Sweden, but when you see them on stage, you feel like you’re in Los Angeles’ Sunset Boulevard in the middle of the 80’s.

Hell Hofer from Bullet on stage in Paris

Musically they’re like a mix between AC/DC and Accept.

They have catchy melodies, thundering drums, great guitar solos, and easy to remember song lyrics.
Sometimes it also reminded me of Judas Priest.

They had a great sound and a great attitude: leather jackets, stretched jeans… everything a good hard rock band needs.

Singer Hell Hofer made the audience participate a few times, singing the chorus line of a few songs.

His voice sounds a bit like Brian Johnson or Udo Dirkschneider.
We all responded screaming as loud as possible, even if a lot of people were only discovering the band tonight.

Erik Almström, Hampus Klang and Adam Hector from Bullet on stage in Paris

Hampus Klang and Erik Almström go mad on their Gibson guitars, playing solos together and moving all around the stage.

Bass player Adam Hector is totally crazy; he spent the whole show headbanging and laughing with the people from the first rows.

Gustav Hjortsjö, the drummer is incredible too, on both fast and slower songs.

BITE THE BULLET!

At the end of the song “Bite The Bullet” Gustav Hjortsjö, Hampus Klang and Erik Almström raised their guitars and bass in the air and on the back we could read “BITE THE BULLET”, each word on a different instrument”.

They did this again at the end of the show.

The show was over after 45 minutes of pure Rock n’Roll delight. Too short! I hope they will come soon again, or that I have the chance to catch them on a summer festival.

Now it was time for Backyard Babies to begin.

After the show I bought their two CDs at the merchandising stand: Bite The Bullet and Heading For The Top.

The band came to the Locomotive’s bar and me and my friends we could talk with them for a while.

They’re very funny guys and overall, they were happy to make this European tour. They said the audience’s response in Paris was great, so maybe they will come back in the future.

Bullet is one of the best bands I discovered lately. I highly recommend their albums to everyone.
