ROCK EN SEINE FESTIVAL

It’s a good thing to have a summer festival just outside town.
Rock en Seine is held every year since 2003 in the city of Saint Cloud, just outside Paris.

Rock en Seine Festival takes place at St Cloud’s Park, or Domaine National de Saint Cloud.
It’s a historic place, where once stood the Chateau De Saint Cloud.
Today, only the park, some fountains and some statues remain.

There are a lot of bands playing every year and most rock styles are represented… except metal!
That’s why I’ve never been there before.
Nevertheless, it’s worth to note that this year there was a place called Bar “Metal”…

Well, Faith No More was playing at Rock En Seine in 2009, so maybe we can expect some more hard rock bands in the years to come.

Sadly, Rock en Seine Festival is famous for headliners being cancelled.

In 2008 Amy Winehouse just didn’t show up.

And in 2009… Oasis cancelled last minute because the Gallagher brothers got into a fight backstage!
Noel Gallagher left the band just before the show and it’s possible that this would be the end of the band.

So if you want my advise, please never bring Guns’N’Roses to Rock En Seine Festival ;-)
