After the Bluesy Rock'n'Roll from The Quireboys, we got into old school Heavy Metal with Armored Saint.

Armored Saint is a cult Heavy Metal act that has never caught much attention in France. Despite being around since the early 80s, their first ever concert in the country was only in 2012.
So, they're still in the task of conquering a new territory so they gave a powerful performance, including old classics and new songs on the setlist.

The casual look of John Bush contrasted with the denim and leather clothes of the rest of band, but the singer is full of energy and his voice is still recognizable among thousands.
But the real showman in the band is bass player Joey Vera, he's the one that runs all over the stage and keeps headbanging during the whole set while performing the songs perfectly.

Still, I felt something was missing and to be honest, this was the least good of the Armored Saint shows I've seen.
But I still liked it a lot and particularly enjoyed March Of The Saint, Last Train Home and Reign Of Fire.
This is definitely an underrated band that certainly deserves way more recognition for their work.

The next performer at the Hellfest was Billy Idol.
