As I walked from the Presidential Office Building I found myself on Liberty Square. It's certainly the most outstanding plaza in Taipei, containing The National Theatre, The National Concert Hall and Chiang Kai-Chek Memorial Hall.
This Memorial was built after President Chiang Kai-shek died in 1975. It opened officially in 1980.
