Italy is a country I love and I've had the chance to go there a lot of times. Ricardo, my best friend, lives in the city of Padova; That's a great excuse to go there at least twice a year.
There are several low cost airlines flying between where I live and Italy, so it's easy and cheap to get there for a weekend. The first time I was in Italy was in 1993. We were with my family in Southern France and crossed the border to San Remo. A few years later, in 2000, I spent a few days there visiting highlight cities like Rome, Venice, Florence and Pisa. I was 19 years old and it was one of my first backpacking trips. Since then, I haven't spent more that five consecutive days in Italy, but I travel there quite often for a weekend. On the left side you have the list of the cities I've visited in Italy. Click to see some pictures and read some travel stories and about the history of the town. |
