Madrasa Qanibay Amir Akhur, Cairo The Madrasa of Qanibay Amir Akhur was built in 1503 by Prince Qanibay, who is buried here.

The Madrasa has the oldest twin-topped minaret, a style used by Mamluks that can also be seen at Al-Azhar Mosque. .

The interior was being restored when I visited this place.
