Although Testament are almost constantly on tour, I’ve had few chances to see them in the last 10 years.

Well, I have to say that this was the best Testament concert I’ve ever been to! The line up of the band is the same that on their latest album: Chuck Billy, Eric Peterson, Alex Skolnick, Greg Christian and Paul Bostaph. It’s just amazing: The classic Testament line-up plus drummer Paul Bostaph.
The band played lots of classics; including “Low”, “Electric Crown”, “Over The Wall”, “Practice What You Preach” and of course “Disciples Of The Watch”.
Chuck Billy was running from one side of the stage to the other, and as usual headbanging and making as if he played guitar solos on his microphone.

Alex Skolnick has again long hair and seriously, it feels like he never left the band! His sound was amazing, and he was often at the front and center of the stage.
He knows a lot of people was willing for him to return in Testament, and he never stopped showing us that he is really back in the band.

Eric Peterson’s sound was loud and heavy. His guitar, rhythmic or soloist, is the soul of Testament. |

Greg Christian was on the right side of the stage so I didn’t see him a lot during the show, but his bass was loud and sounding great.
And what can I say about Paul Bostaph? He is one of the best drummers in Thrash Metal and he showed that again on this day.
I’m glad he is Testament now, he deserved a band like this. |

The hour and 15 minutes spent with Testament seemed too short. I’m willing to see them live again. They really blew my mind this time.
