Every time I've seen The Quireboys on a festival, Twisted Sister were playing too. |
The Quireboys had a backdrop with the name of the band and a rose. |
The setlist was quite strange, as they only played some of their heaviest songs. |
The Quireboys also did a tribute to Ronnie James Dio with an unexpected song: Starstruck, from the album Rainbow Rising. |
Guy Griffin and Paul Guerin made us swing with their solos, riffs and melodies, while Keith Weir gives the bluesy colour so characteristic of the Quireboys music. |
The show ended at 6pm with a powerful verion of 7 O'Clock! I wouldn't have minded if The Quireboys to play for one more hour... After their rock'n'roll show, I wasn't really in the mood for the next band: Queensrÿche. |
