Dave Mustaine performing with Megadeth at the Sonisphere Festival France

After Slayer and Papa Roach, the Big Four continued with Megadeth.
What an amazing show! To me, the highlight of this day was Megadeth!

David Ellefson live at the Sonisphere Festival with Megadeth

Of course I enjoyed the whole festival, but the Megadeth concert was really special even if it came without surprises.
Anthrax had Andreas Kisser on guitars…
Slayer had Gary Holt on guitars...
Metallica invited Anthrax and Diamond Head members on stage…
Megadeth just played a classic setlist but it was sooooo good!

Chris Broderick live with Megadeth at the Sonisphere France

The show started at dusk so the lightshow was quite visible.

The stage was customized with the cover of the album Endgame, and it looked awesome!

Shawn Drover on drums with Megadeth

At Big Four Show of the Sonisphere Romania 2010, Megadeth played before Slayer.
This time, the order was changed, Megadeth played before Metallica.

As I said, the setlist was made of classics.
That means more or less the same songs they always play… except for Poison Was The Cure, that was back in the set after the Rust In Peace Anniversary Tour.

We also had a novelty, the song Public Enemy No. 1 from the forthcoming album.
It was a heavy speed tune that will certainly become a favourite.

Even Megadeth’s mascot, Vic Rattlehead, made an appearance during the song Peace Sells.

David Ellefson on bass, live with Megadeth

There wasn’t much talk between the songs, and there was no need to. The Megadeth war machine arrived and crushed it all.

What could have made this show even better: a less obvious setlist, and a longer show.

After this discharge, we really wanted to have more.

After Megadeth, we waited for Metallica to complete The Big Four.

During this time, Tarja played at the Saturn Stage.
