Third Heaven And Hell concert in just one week! This is a band that just a few years ago I never thought I’ll ever see live in concert, so I really can’t complain!

Heaven & Hell play classic Heavy Metal but the atmosphere is really dark. It was quite strange to go from hard rocking Tesla to Heaven and Hell and then to glam rockers Mötley Crüe.

That’s the cool thing of a festival, many musical genres are represented.

The show started with E5150 and The Mob Rules.

The stage was completely customized and there were even two gargoyles, one on each side, that weren’t used at Paris’ concert.

Also, Heaven And Hell were the first band to play by night and to use the whole lightshow during its concert. It was absolutely sumptuous.

The sound had some ups and down, but generally speaking it was good.

Dio was singing very well and energetic on that night.

This time Geezer Butler’s bass was louder, and that added something special to the concert.

Tony Iommi still doesn’t move much on stage, but that’s just the way he does in concert.
Vinny Appice had of course his monster drum kit again, and played drum solo, short enough for a festival show.


Heaven And Hell's setlist was exactly the same that last Monday in Paris.

That was a bit disappointing, specially when you know that songs like Lady Evil, Computer God, The Sign of The Southern Cross or The Devil Cried have already been played live during the 2007 and 2008 tours.

A good show, but nevertheless there was an impression of deja-vu.

I think they could have changed a song or two.

It was also a short set for a headliner… Tesla played almost the same amount of time!

Apart from this, nothing wrong to say.

I’m looking forward to see them in Wacken next August, and I hope they'll surprise me then.
