Finally Heaven And Hell gave their first concert in Paris!

It took place at the Casino de Paris, a beautiful venue where the only concert I've seen before was Whitesnake, a few weeks before.

Since the Black Sabbath Reunion with Ronie James Dio and Vinny Appice, this was only their second concert in France. The first one was on Friday, at the Hellfest Festival in Clisson.

As the first notes of the E5150 Intro sounded, we all knew what what's coming next! Oh yeah, Black Sabbath was here again!

Oh, forgive me if I say Black Sabbath instead of Heaven & Hell. But I'm not Ozzy Osbourne's biggest fan, and to me the best Black Sabbath years are the ones with Ronnie James Dio. But of course it's just my personal musical taste.

Heaven And Hell cancelled their concert at the Metalway Festival in Spain a few days earlier, due to Tony Iommi's back pain. So we were very lucky to have them tonight!

He gave a great performance on that night.
Tony Iommi doesn't move a lot on stage, but that's not because of a back pain, that's just as usual, they way he stands on stage.

He smiled a lot during the concert, he seemed glad to be playing in Paris after somany years

Vinny Appice had a very impressive drumkit.
Usualy I don't like drum solos, but I really enjoyed the one he did on that night.
He used all his drums, even the bass drum up his head! Who said a drummer can't be a showman?!

The atmosphere at the venue was really special.
The lights were quite dark, what else would you expect for a Black Sabbath concert?

Still, they were in a real Rock'nRoll mood.
