After Helstar, I checked a few songs from Izegrim at the Tent Stage and then it was time for Forbidden. |

Again, the sound wasn't very good, but what mattered is that Forbidden was on stage, giving us exactly what we expected: a good dose of thrash metal! |

Singer Russ Anderson is impressive on stage. |

Forbidden cancelled most o their European Tour, but still they were here at the Alcatraz Metal Fest. |

The audience responded with lots of crowdsurfing. Usually, the audience is quite calm in Belgium, but it seems like a band like Forbidden can easily make the people go crazy. |

Drummer Mark Hernandez was not in the band anymore. The mighty Gene Hoglan returned to Forbidden, so this was like a reunion show: the first Forbidden concert in 2011 with Gene Hoglan. |
