The Schung Festival is held in Belgium. It's a one day festival held in an indoors venue in the city of Roselare. The only year I've been there was in 2006. The bill was amazing: Alice Cooper, Status Quo, Dio, Ted Nugent and Thunder. It was the first time (and only to date) that I've seen Ted Nugent and Thunder. |

May 27 2006 was a rainy day. Fortunately the concert was indoors. |

We drove in the morning from Paris to Roselare and got to the Schwung Festival in the early afternoon. Just in time to get one those awful Belgian Festival burgers (If you've been to Graspop Festival you'll see what I mean). |

We were a big group of some 15 to 20 friends so it almost felt like going to a concert at home. |
