If you read the review from Edguy live in Paris in January 2009, you’ll know that I was disappointed of the performance of the band. |

Well, that’s exactly what happened! |

All musicians were particularly in good shape today, and spent the whole show headbanging and running. Tobias Sammet proved again on that day that he’s a very good frontman and know how to tease the audience. Of course he did a few jokes, and his voice was particularly good on that day. |

At this edition of the Gods Of Metal both stages were side by side… And Tobias Sammet dared to go and sing for a couple of minutes on the other stage, during Lita Ford’s soundcheck. |

Edguy had a backdrop with a castle, just like in the indoors shows. |
||||||

Edguy also chose a nice setlist so they could please everyone even if they were playing only one hour. |
||||||

I enjoyed a lot all the bands playing at the Gods Of Metal 2009 (except Queensrÿche and Epica) but to me Edguy was one of the best concerts of the day. |
