Concerts 2010
Here is the list of concerts of 2010. Click to get a review and some pictures.
2010 was an amazing year! In just 12 months time, I saw some of my favourite bands, including some of the biggest rock and metal legends.
One accomplishment was to see all 3 Iron Maiden singers playing live: Blaze Bayley’s band in February, 3 Paul DiAnno gigs in May, and 3 Iron Maiden shows in August!
I also managed to see the Russian band Aria in their hometown, Moscow. And the luxury opening acts for a 25-year career celebration concert were the bands formed by ex-Aria members: Mavrick, Master, Arteria and Kipelov.
Another big event was the mythical Big Four, with thrash masters Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth and Metallica playing together for the first time.
Later, Guns’n’Roses toured in Europe and I was delighted to catch them in Paris and Antwerpen.
By the end of the year, I was lucky to attend the Avantasia tour, with several special guests, including former Helloween singer Michael Kiske, a man I never thought I’d see performing on stage.
But that’s not all: I had to chance to see Twisted Sister, The Scorpions' farewell Tour, AC/DC’s Black Ice Tour. I had a Sonic Boom with KISS, went to the Theatre Of Death with Alice Cooper, and screamed with Ozzy Osbourne… plus many other great bands such as Annihilator, Steel Panther, Jetboy, Hades…
2010 was unforgettable.
