Apocalyptica Live at the Sweden Rock Festival 2008

Go for a complety change of musical styles: After Gotthard's hard rock, it was time for the epic instrumental show of Apocalyptica.

This is a band with unusual instruments in rock and without a singer, that manages to gather at least half of the people present at the Sweden Rock Fest. Amazing. But they deserve it.

Apocalyptica music fits everywhere and it aways sounds great:
They can play the Eurovision in Finland, they can play a small club filled with just 300 fans, they can play arenas with Rammstein or they can play in a summer festival in the middle of the afternoon.

The stage set was quite impressive, with the Worlds Collide album backdrop, and each musician on a skull/cello-shaped seat.

Their show was an intense moment and they had an huge ovation from the crowds.

After that, it was time to have a couple of beers to see another band from Finland but totally different: Eläkeläiset.
